The First Record Through the Wall
On July 16, 2026 — Done Deal Digital's 10-year anniversary — the founder becomes the company's first customer. "Street Life" is going through the exact prison-distribution pipeline we run for independent artists: filed into the tablet systems that reach people inside, so the people who need to hear it can buy it, and the artist gets paid.
And we're proving it in public. Every step below gets its receipt published the day it becomes real — no staging, no backdating, no promises dressed up as results. When a slot below is pending, it says pending.
Federal copyright — on file
"Street Life" is a federally registered sound recording with the U.S. Copyright Office (Case 1-14212921181, registered 2024). The paper behind the record.
Live on streaming since 2019
Released June 19, 2019 under Done Deal Digital LLC — streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, Deezer, and Bandcamp under ISRC OZATW1938364.
Prison pipeline — submission in progress
The kiosk/tablet submission is in motion. When it's filed, the confirmation and payment receipt publish here. When it goes live on the tablets — per the platforms' published windows — the catalog proof publishes here. Not before.
First prison-tablet dollar — pending
Royalty statements land 60–90 days after go-live. The first real dollar this record earns behind the wall gets published here — the actual number, however small. Small real numbers are the point.
Why We're Doing It This Way
Every distributor says "trust us." We'd rather show receipts. If Done Deal Digital is going to tell artists we can get your music where no other artist's is — into the tablets and kiosks that reach your people inside — then the first record through the pipe should be ours, documented in public, win or wait.
If you're an artist with people inside — or a family that wants their artist heard — this is the service we run.
