Background

San Francisco, 1996

Tha Dangla's debut LP Straight Max'n was released in 1996 on G-Note Records, his older brother Feady Crocka's imprint. The album was recorded at B.A.R.Studio (Bay Area Recording Studio) in the Fillmoe district.

Cover artwork by phunky phat graph-x, who also designed covers for Master P, E-40, Rappin' 4-Tay, C-BO, and JT The Bigga Figga. The album was the second G-Note Records release, following Fast's own 1995 debut Down 4 Tha Cause.

Tha Dangla has continued recording with Fast across the label arc that followed G-Note: Paragon Entertainment, Proplylaced Music, and currently Done Deal Digital. He is one of Done Deal Digital's recording artists today.
