Professional Mixing in the San Francisco Bay Area

Balance, depth, and clarity — three decades of ears on your record.

A mix is where a song stops being a stack of recordings and becomes a record. We bring every element of your track into a cohesive whole — vocals seated right, low end controlled, top end crisp, and enough space between the parts that nothing fights for the listener's attention. Industry-standard plug-ins, a room that has been mixing Bay Area rap and R&B for three decades, and a bias toward mixes that hold up on phone speakers and car systems, not just studio monitors.

Most artists come to us in one of two situations: they recorded somewhere else and the rough mix is not translating, or they tracked with us and want the whole record finished under one roof. Both work. Send stems from any DAW and we take it from there.

Recorded elsewhere? Send stems from any DAW — Pro Tools, Logic, FL Studio, Ableton, Reaper. We do not need your session file.

Every mix includes two rounds of revisions. You listen, you send notes, we adjust. No per-tweak billing.

Every Mix Includes

  • Level & frequency balance
  • Vocal tuning & seating
  • Low-end control
  • Two revision rounds
  • Clean & explicit versions
  • Instrumental & TV track
  • 24-bit WAV delivery
  • Mastering-ready headroom

What Artists Ask Before Booking

1. How should I send my files?

Export each track as a separate WAV, all starting at the same point (bar 1, time zero), 24-bit at your session's sample rate. Leave your rough mix in as a reference so we can hear what you were going for. Turn off any mix-bus processing on the stems themselves — we would rather start clean.

2. What does mixing cost?

Mixing is quoted per project rather than sold at a flat rate, because a two-track freestyle and a sixteen-track record with live instrumentation are not the same job. Tell us the track count, the genre, and how many songs, and we will come back with a number. No obligation to book.

3. Do I need mastering too?

If the song is going to streaming, yes. Mixing balances the elements inside your song; mastering makes the finished song sit correctly next to every other record on Spotify and Apple Music. We deliver mixes with headroom left specifically so mastering has room to work — ours or anyone else's.

4. Can you fix a bad recording?

Partly, and we will tell you straight where the ceiling is. Timing, tuning, noise, and balance are fixable. A vocal recorded clipping, or in a room with heavy reflections, has a limit no mix can move past. If we think you would be better off re-tracking a part, we will say so before you pay for a mix that cannot get there — and you are welcome to re-cut it in our studio.
