What this internship is

This is the camera seat at Done Deal Universal Media — the film and video arm directed by Feady Crocka. You're on real shoots from day one: music videos, performance footage, behind-the-scenes, visualizers, and short-form for socials. Not fetching coffee, not watching from the back. Running a camera and cutting footage that actually goes out.

It matters because video is how an independent artist gets seen. A record can be heard, but the visual is what makes someone stop scrolling and share. The work you shoot here goes live on real releases for real artists — including the people we're fighting to get heard, inside and out. You learn on the same gear the pros are using, on the same shoots that pay the bills.

What you'll do

• Operate pro cinema gear on real shoots — the in-house kit is 4× Blackmagic 6K cinema cameras, a Sony 4K, drones for aerial coverage, and a full lighting setup
• Shoot music videos, performance footage, behind-the-scenes, visualizers, and short-form vertical content for socials
• Cut and edit footage that actually gets released — not practice projects that live on a hard drive
• Help on set with framing, lighting, and coverage so the footage comes back clean and post-ready the first time
• Build the look for green-screen and on-location shoots alongside the editing, scoring, and color team

• How a video travels concept to final cut — treatment, shoot, edit, color, deliver — one team, one finished file
• Real camera operation and on-set craft on pro cinema bodies, plus drone and lighting fundamentals
• The editing instinct for short-form that makes people stop and share, versus footage that just sits there
• What it takes on a working set — reliability and good footage get you trusted with bigger shoots fast
